Mini excavator track keeps coming off: track tension

Symptoms
- Track walks off when turning
- Track sags between rollers
- Grease leaking from the tensioner
Why it happens
A grease-filled cylinder sets track tension. When grease leaks past the seal or the track stretches, the track goes slack and comes off.
How to fix it
- Measure track sag at the midpoint against the manual spec.
- Pump grease into the tensioner fitting until sag is in spec.
- If it loses tension again, replace the tensioner seal.
- Inspect idlers, rollers and sprockets for wear.
