Sea-Doo Spark slow or noisy: wear ring, PTO seal and deck screws

Symptoms
- Top speed down, cavitation
- Water in the hull
- Rattles or creaks from the deck
Why it happens
Sand and gravel score the jet pump wear ring, the PTO seal at the driveshaft can leak, and the screws holding the split deck work loose.
How to fix it
- Inspect the impeller and wear ring through the intake; replace a scored ring.
- Check the PTO seal area for water after riding.
- Tighten the deck Torx screws to the manual's torque.
- Avoid running in shallow sandy water.
