CFMoto check engine light: reading codes and throttle body reset

Symptoms
- Check engine light on
- Rough idle or stalling after cleaning the throttle body or a battery change
- Reduced power
Why it happens
The ECU stores a fault code for sensor or wiring problems. After the battery is disconnected or the throttle body is cleaned, the idle may need to relearn.
How to fix it
- Read the fault code on the display or with a diagnostic tool.
- Look up the code in the manual and check that sensor's connector first.
- Do the throttle body or idle reset procedure in the manual.
- Clear codes and confirm they don't return.
